Two Mikes at the IPMS USA 2008 National Convention!!!
Two Mikes will be teaming up with Two Bobs Decals for our first ever IPMS National Convention. We will be sharing table space with Bob and Teri and we coudn't ask for a better place to debut our products! We look to team up at many more Nationals with Two Bobs!
We will also be having several raffles throughout the convention with not only our stuff but other really cool surprises as well.
Also, don't forget the Two Bobs Hospitalty Suite on Friday night!! Bob and Teri have gone above and beyond yet again to provide a great time for the convention goers! There will be four kegs of beer along with dry snacks that are free due to the sponsorship of many of your favorite companies and websites along with Two Bobs themselves. We look forward to meet everyone at the show and to get our products out in the public eye. We will also have a few items at the show that have yet to be listed on the site. The Two Mikes Team
This is the page to look at for all of the upcoming news on Two Mikes products. First up will be a 1/48 scale 100% LERX for the Hasegawa Harrier family along with white cast seamless intakes for the Hasegawa 1/48 Super Hornet kits. We have also added a couple more items such as some beautiful little 1/48 seamless and corrected 1/48 Jaguar intakes as well as some updated Blocks 1/5/10 horizontal stabs for the Hasegawa F-16A/Bs. Soon to follow are the much anticipated 1/48 QF-4 conversions to go with the Two Bobs decal sheets already out there. Don't worry everyone, these guys are coming!!
Our goal is to improve our process with each and every product we offer. All of our products are designed to fit a specific kit. Some modifications will be required to make them fit but we do our best to make life easier on the modeler. We also want you to know that sometimes scale effect comes into play and while making an accurate representation is always paramount we have to work within the confines of the particular kit for which the parts are intended.
One thing we have found out are the teething processes of opening a new venture. All of the behind the scenes work to accomplish is simply mind boggling! Everything from web site design, packaging, labels and licensing on top of casting and designing has indeed caused a bit of a delay in getting up and running. We can assure you that once we are finally ready to take orders, delays will be much fewer and farther between.
Mike V and I also want to welcome Mike Williams the owner of Britmodeler dot com into the mix. Mike has been doing some awesome masters for us and continues to come up with great ideas to make our company better. For anyone residing in the UK, Europe or all over the world, Mike W will be your point of contact for references, product ideas and master work. I will soon have Mikes email account set up so you can contact him directly.
We also want to invite anyone who has something they are making or thinking of making to think of us to master it up and add it to our product line. We want to have a nice diverse line of products and we will happily employ the services of anyone who fancies doing some master pattern work. Feel free to email any of us if you are interested in that. We are always looking for something to add.
Finally, we want to thank Bob and Teri Sanchez for the opportunity to link ourselves with them. They are wonderful friends to us as well as our familes and we could think of nobody better to align ourselves with!!
Our goal with Two Mikes is to provide great products at a sensible price. We will always strive to make our products better and more detailed. We will also always welcome our customers input and ideas. We want you happy!!
